TVS & Sons inaugurates two new TVS ‘Partsmart’ outlets in Tamil Nadu

TVS & Sons, the Parent company of US$ 6 billion TVS Group, has announced the inauguration of two new TVS Partsmart outlets in Pudukottai and Dharmapuri districts. These outlets will sell spare parts for multi-brand Commercial Vehicles (both HCV & LCV) to retailers, fleet operators and Garage owners. With the inauguration of two Franchisees, Venus & Venus Auto Parts in Pudukottai and Sri Padmavathy Automobiles in Dharmapuri, the tally of total TVS Partsmart outlets has gone up to 20 across 14 Districts in Tamil Nadu. Speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration, K.R. Sridhar, Vice President of Parts Distribution Services - TVS & Sons, noted, “We are happy to inaugurate two new TVS Partsmart retail stores in Pudukottai and Dharmapuri where we have tremendous market potential for spare parts business. We see a lot of growth opportunity in this business and are planning to have a total of 40 retail outlets by the end of this fiscal year. We will also be extending our business to other states in the near future and by 2015 we would like to have our presence across India.” Partsmart outlets will market spare parts of major OEMs including TATA, Eicher Canter and Ashok Leyland. Partsmart, will also market spare parts under TVS brand sourced by its TVS distribution division.
